It’s been an amazing journey. From an idea shared between people with a passion for better paediatrics to a successful project which has grouped over 46 partners from all over Europe. The resources created will continue to benefit the paediatric landscape through conect4children Stichting (c4c-S), a Dutch non-profit organisation, ensuring that the hard work from the conect4children (c4c) project can live on.

The consortium have fought for their dreams and now it is time to start doing!

The results of the expertise, enthusiasm, and dedication can (almost!) be summarised below.

Some c4c facts:

  • Over 400 experts
  • Network of National Hubs: 20 National Hubs across 21 Countries
  • 41 courses available on the e-Learning Academy Platform
  • 100% of recruited target achieved in the Non-industry PoV study TREOCAPA

Some notable outputs:

  • CDISC Paediatric User Guide (PUG) launched
  • c4c e-Learning Academy Platform available
  • c4c-S established
  • c4c-S expert advice service open
  • 6 Multi-Stakeholders Meetings (MSMs) organised

Initiatives like conect4children are not a one-person job. Many people with diverse expertise and experience were integrated into the project from day one to ensure that all areas were covered. And the fruits of this structure are clear to see after almost a decade of working together. We would like to sincerely thank you everyone who has been involved in making c4c a success!

Thank you to the blog readers, website visitors, LinkedIn followers, event attendees, and supporters who have helped boost the awareness of the project over the years and have learned with and contributed to conect4children.

And most importantly, thank you to the parents, children, and young people who have contributed and trusted us. Without you none of this would be possible.

While this marks the end of the c4c project, it is not the end of conect4children journey. The work, the partnerships, and the progress we’ve made will continue to grow and make a lasting impact for years to come.
