The c4c ‘train the trainers’ workshop will take place online on 16 and 17 September 2020.
This workshop is open to patients and patient representatives who are interested in finding out more about the life cycle of medicines and how to get involved within the c4c project.
The objective of this workshop is to describe and demonstrate the different ways patients can be engaged within the c4c project, and to educate patient organisations to support patients/parents involvement at the European level for paediatric clinical trials.
Topics covered include; clinical trials methodology, clinical research, ethics in medicines development, regulatory affairs and marketing authorisation.
The language of the workshop will be English.
Conditions to apply and attend:
- Profile and country: Applicants must be patients/patient representatives, based in Europe.
- Commitment: Participants are required to attend the full training day and to complete the e-learning pre-training activities. Participants are also commited to disseminate the knowledge gain through the course within their organisation and other relevant groups.
- Costs: The training is free to successful applicants.
